Mastodon Chirper: Integrating Mastodon with Twitter
Mastodon Chirper is a browser extension developed by Dominik Picheta that seamlessly integrates the Mastodon social network with the twitter.com user interface. By logging into your Mastodon account, this extension automatically injects posts from your Mastodon timeline into your Twitter home timeline feed. This means that whenever you visit twitter.com, you will not only see tweets but also Mastodon toots.
The extension offers a simple and user-friendly experience. You can easily disable the extension at any time by clicking the Chirper icon located in the top bar. This action stops the injection of Mastodon toots into your Twitter feed. If you decide to re-enable the extension, simply click the Chirper icon again.
Mastodon Chirper supports all Mastodon instances, ensuring compatibility across the platform. If you encounter any issues while using the extension, you can reach out to the developer through the "About" link in the Chirper popup. It's important to note that this project is not affiliated with the Mastodon project, Mastodon gGmbH, or Twitter.
